Get Ready
I Samuel 22:2
There is a parable that Jesus gave us about a king who prepared a wedding banquet for His Son & invited all the nobles of the land. When they received the invitation they all gave excuses most of the excuses seemed very logical but they took the invitation lightly. Some even attacked and killed the servants. So the king sent armies & destroyed them & their city. He told His servants to go to the highways & the outskirts to invite anyone to come including the outcasts. This is the time we are in. Jesus is gathering all who will come into His wedding banquet. Sadly in the end when the king enters the great hall He notices a man not dressed in wedding clothes, he did not give his all. This lack of respect enraged the King. He told His servants to cast this man out into everlasting darkness. Many are called but few are chosen. We have to give the Lord all of ourselves withholding nothing, clothing yourself with faith displaying works of righteousness. It wasn’t our own righteousness that got us in. It was only by the King’s grace. Be diligent to persevere in doing what He has called us to do. To be chosen is up to us whether we abide in Him & let Him change us into His image enduring to the end to be saved.
