No limits
I Corinthians 13:8-10
Some people use this scripture to say God is going to do away with prophecy and tongues, some even go as far as to say that when we received the written word of God that all the gifts ceased. But no one ever says knowledge has ceased. Why? This scripture is not about the gifts ceasing its about the part of ourselves that limits these spiritual gifts ceasing. We will operate fully in the gifts because we will be perfected. Tongues will become our fluent form of communication. We will see clearly from the beginning to the end fully operating in prophecy. Our flawed human understanding will no longer be the filter we use to experience knowledge because we will be one with the Spirit of Truth. The Holy Spirit is in the process of leading us into all truth so all of our operations in the gifts are filtered through our own minds, this is why these gifts are only in part at this point in our journey. When we see Him we will be like Him we will fluently speak our heavenly language. Every word we speak will be prophetic. Our knowledge will be drawn directly from Him not from any other limited source. I can’t wait for the “part” or “partial” to be done away with.
